Applications for Rotary Club of Richmond Foundation and Community Club Grants available this September.
Founded in 1913, the Rotary Club of Richmond is the oldest and largest Rotary Club in the central Virginia area. We are an organization of community service-oriented professionals with over 100 members. Every year, we invest over $75,000 back into the community.
We meet every Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 PM at Willow Oaks Country Club, located at 6228 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, VA 23225.
We welcome guests who are interested in joining or learning more about our Rotary Club. Please contact our membership Chair, Jeff Hume (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information. You will be invited to join us for a meeting. A typical meeting consists of lunch, greetings and announcements, and a prominent guest speaker.
What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of over 1.2 million business and professional leaders dedicated to making an impact in their communities. Rotary encourages and fosters the ideal of service to such humanitarian efforts as the elimination of Polio, reducing poverty, supporting youth programs and engaging in community service.
In the over 100 year tradition of the Rotary Club of Richmond, Tabasco provides the “hottest” news available to member Rotarians. Each edition highlights weekly guest speakers whose organization makes an impact in the greater Richmond community. Club announcements, events and sponsorship are noted.
Meals on Wheels is one of the Rotary Club of Richmond’s most important volunteer opportunities. Our members deliver food every Thursday from 10:45 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. to help vulnerable children, families and seniors. This program is offered by Food Bank located at 1415 Rhoadmiller St, Richmond, Va
